We are a friendly, supportive, and small group so there is plenty of time to share. We are based in Auckland, New Zealand and welcome newcomers and visitors. We split our topics based on the week of the month – a business meeting, visions, step of the month, tool of the month and on the odd 5-week month the chairperson’s choice. Each week we remind ourselves of the promises that we receive from DA. Come check us out!

The Abundance meeting of DA is a weekly zoom held every Thursday at 7pm NZT. It is made up of a core of members from New Zealand and Australia. We support one another to celebrate the abundance made possible by DA recovery, and welcome new members and visitors from anywhere in the world.

Mahi Aroha BDA Visions meeting was established in 2020. Attended by business owners and sole traders, we support one another to achieve our visions. We host a monthly speaker meeting, our topic meetings include visions, BDA tools and promises, and we hold a monthly business meeting. We welcome regulars and drop-ins from around the globe!
Our Te Reo Māori name 'mahi aroha' means "work in service."
DA offers hope for people whose use of unsecured debt causes problems and suffering. We come to learn that compulsive debting is a spiritual problem with a spiritual solution, and we find relief by working the DA recovery programme based on the Twelve-Step principles.
It is suggested that you attend at least six meetings to get a better understanding of the DA programme.
By coming to meetings and sharing our experience, strength and hope, we find joy and clarity as we recover together.
“We practice anonymity, which allows us freedom of expression by assuring us that what we say at meetings or to other DA members at any time will not be repeated.” (from DA Anonymity Pamphlet)
If you are new to DA, welcome.
Yes! DA and BDA are world-wide fellowships.
